Seven Hindrances to Worship
- Intellectualism - knowledge comes from pure reason, without aid from the senses (rationalism)
- Idealism- worship is only genuine when it ncludes that which is familiar to our won cultural experiences and is
only right when it is based on a right formula
- Imperialism - is the practice of dominating the affairs of worship
by controlling the planning and presentation of a service
- Isolationism - is birthed and sustained by fear, fear of the unknown, fear of lack of control etc...
- Institutionalism -We must be right because this is the way we have always done it
- Improperism - Somethinig is improper because it is not consistent with truth, fact, or rule
- Illusionism - Is the practice of giving an unreal, deceptive, or misleading appearance or a false perception or interpretation of what one sees
GOD CAN OVERCOME HUMAN HINDERANCES
